Greetings to all new visitors of the site!
Hurling is a wonderful game from Ireland and you can learn it from the ground up at a beginners Hurling camp, May 12th and 13th!

Camp is opened to all genders and ages and costs only $20 per person. A great value!
For equipment purposes please enroll soon so we have enough gear for you all!

Imagine that, a Hurling camp in Tennessee. Time to dust off your Irish roots lads and lasses of the south! This Hurling camp is just for you. An emphasis will be placed on learning the fundamentals so you can literally learn Hurling from the ground up.

Back in Action!

The site is back, and with a bit of a new look!

The past couple of weeks have been filled with intense weekends of travel and Hurling. March 17th we traveled to Lexington Kentucky to celebrate St. Patrick’s day and compete against the Lads of Lexington. During the match they demonstrated that practice does not matter as long as your Irish!

Just this past weekend we went to St. Louis to train and scrimmage with their massive club. Hopefully it was a glimpse to the future of Hurling in TN! From St. Louis we headed to Indianapolis for a 3 game tournament in which we lost the first two and won our last against Indianapolis! A historic moment for the club as it was our first win!

Don’t miss out on a chance to see the MTSU Hurling Club in action!

Saturday, Feburary 11, We will be hosting Purdue Hurling club.
The clash will take place at 1pm at the MTSU Sports Club Complex located at 2111 East main St.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to see the sport played, or perhaps you’ve never heard of it, either way this game will be an exciting event and all should come check it out!

First Practice of the Year

The club will hold its first practice of the year this Sunday, 2:00pm at the MTSU Sports Club Complex.

This is the perfect practice to come out with your friends and give hurling a go! We have extra equipment to borrow for the day!

Its times like these, when it should be below freezing and snowing, that the wolfhounds are glad to live in Tennessee.

Hurling Club of MTSU Gears Up for Spring 2012

In 2011 we were founded, adopted by MTSU, sponsored, uniformed, and played in our first two scrimmages with Purdue and Augusta, GA. 2011 was a big year for us
Things are only looking better as we go into Spring 2012. Already we are working multiple tournaments and events into our schedule which will be posted in the coming month! Stay tuned!

Dec. 3rd the Hurling Club of MTSU had their first real time game experience with Purdue University. Each side had a blast and we Middle Tennessee lads learned a lot from the Boilermakers! Pictures of the event can be found in the Media section of this site.
